Her trial experience includes over 100 Civil Trials and Binding Arbitrations, concluded to verdict.

She had donated her time to the LA Superior Court Mediation panel from 2006-until 2013.  In 2011 she became a fulltime Mediator with ADR Services, Inc. Since 2016 Ms. Halbreich has been working as an Independent Mediator in Los Angeles and Orange County.  She had also served as a Judge Pro Tem 1989-1993 (volunteer temporary judge) for the LA Superior Court.

Her mediation skills became evident when Ms. Halbreich handled 150 related cases, as a small class action with common orders and procedures to streamline costs and speed up resolution which resulted in 149 individual settlements within 1 year.

Since working as a fulltime mediator Ms. Halbreich has mediated cases involving a variety of Employment/Wage And Hour Cases; Personal Injury Cases; Professional Liability; Business and Partnership Disputes; and Family Law cases involving high assets and Business Valuations.  She continues to enjoy the satisfaction of achieving settlements for parties in disputes whether in active lawsuits and at times, pre-litigation.

Well known as a highly skilled litigator and given Martindale’s highest Peer Review attorney rating for her legal skills and ethics (AV), her skill in dealing with complex issues proved invaluable throughout her litigation career and informs her Mediation/Arbitration practice with subject expertise and a talent for resolving complex disputes.

This expertise with complex issues and business litigation experience, as well as personal experience as a Real Estate investor, enabled Ms. Halbreich to successfully litigate and now mediate, complicated family law matters.  Her varied experience has provided her with the talent to untangle and resolve disputes of all kinds which are not only legally complex, but highly contested and emotionally charged.

She brings the same passion and persistence to achieving resolution at Mediation as she did to winning at trial.  Her power of persuasion previously used on juries is now being used to assist parties to succeed at mediation.
