Thomas L. Wilson is a partner with Pivo, Halbreich, Martin & Wilson, LLP specializing in business torts, toxic torts, construction defects, product liability, commercial contracts, insurance and railroad law. Mr. Wilson was named as one of The Ten Most Dependable™ Litigation Attorneys in California for 2008 , as published in Forbes Magazine, and as determined by market research firm Goldline Research. He also was named to the 2007 list of Super Lawyers of Southern California, as published in the New York Times and Los Angeles Magazine. In 2008, he was listed in the inaugural publication of Super Lawyers, Corporate Counsel Edition magazine, a publication featuring lawyers from across the United States who had attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement, and who were recognized as being among the top five percent of attorneys specializing in business litigation. Mr. Wilson’s practice is devoted entirely to litigation, including a wide variety of cases in which he has defended businesses of all types. He has handled and litigated major exposure cases for more than 30 years, including the successful defense of a federal multi-million dollar RICO/securities fraud jury trial, the defense of director and officer claims, the representation of numerous automobile and ATV manufacturers, and the defense of contractors and subcontractors in construction defect cases. Over the years, he also has litigated several cases involving the railroad industry, as well as the defense of Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) claims. Mr. Wilson is the author of several articles on various legal issues facing the business community. .
